KNOCHE – a brand of KD Agrartechnik GmbH

KD Agrartechnik takes over the business operations of Knoche Maschinenbau GmbH:
Securing the future of a traditional company – bundling the KNOCHE and DUTZI brands under one roof.

The family-run company Knoche Maschinenbau, which has stood for innovative tillage technology for decades, filed for insolvency in September 2024. KD Agrartechnik GmbH has now joined the company in Bad Nenndorf and is continuing operations. The new management team consists of Frank Wetterkamp and the two authorized signatories Heiko Weser and Henning Windheim. Henning Windheim will continue to act as KNOCHE product manager, but will also become more involved in sales. In addition to sales tasks, Heiko Weser will also take over production management.

The DUTZI brand also belongs to KD Agrartechnik. This unites two brands under one roof. Heiko Weser and Frank Wetterkamp have been associated with the DUTZI brand for decades. “KD Agrartechnik joining Knoche is an important step in the further development of both brands,” explains Frank Wetterkamp. “We look forward to continuing the tradition of KNOCHE and DUTZI together with the experienced KNOCHE team and at the same time breaking new, innovative ground in agricultural technology.”

Securing the location and continuity – The entire workforce of Knoche Maschinenbau was taken over by KD Agrartechnik. The Bad Nenndorf site remains the central production and sales location. The shareholder and managing director Jörg Knoche and the second managing director Elmar Wimmers are leaving the company.

Focus on sustainable agriculture – The DUTZI brand machines ideally complement KNOCHE’s existing product portfolio for sustainable soil cultivation and efficient agricultural technology. With the proven products KNOCHE ÖKOGRUBBER, KNOCHE SPEEDMAX and KNOCHE CROSSMAX and the DUTZI KR and the DUTZI loaders FL and HL as well as other new developments, KD Agrartechnik will set new standards in modern agriculture.

Knoche Eco-cultivator: prevent weed resistance with the new crumbling roller

Knoche Eco-cultivator: prevent weed resistance with the new crumbling roller

The new roller from Knoche crumbles the soil intensively and effectively separates weeds from the soil. When it comes to weed killing, cultivators usually fail to cleanly remove the roots. However, de-earthing is important so that the root does not root again after it has been successfully loosened from the soil. The root should lie on the surface of the soil without any attachment to the soil, so that it can dry out there. The KNOCHE crumbling roller copes with this task: The 400 diameter with open cage technology – without an internal axis – has a very high rotation speed. This causes the soil to be separated from the root – similar to the separation in a centrifuge. The crumbling roller thus has two effects: on the one hand, the soil is crumbled more intensively and, on the other hand, the weeds can be effectively separated from the soil. An important expansion of the KNOCHE product range for all farmers who want to carry out sustainable weed control on a mechanical basis. The new KNOCHE CRUMBLER ROLLER 400 (FLK400) is available for the KNOCHE ÖKORUBBER 300 (3 m) and 450 (4.5 m). The roller can also be retrofitted for all previous models. The ÖKOGRUBBER with crumbling roller can be seen at the Ökofeldtage from June 14 to 15, 2023 in Ditzingen at the KNOCHE stand, B 4.10.

KNOCHE machines in Farming Simulator 22

We wish you a lot of fun playing the game!

KNOCHE SPEEDMAX im LS22

Reduce to the max- it all depends on the right ultra shallow rapeseed stubble cultivation!

One of the greatest challenges in rapeseed stubble cultivation is not to bury the fine rapeseed too deep. If they are buried too deep, there is a risk that they will go into dormancy (seminal dormancy).
In this condition, the rapeseed can germinate for several years. For this reason, it is essential to only work ultra-shallowly when cultivating rape stubble.
This is no longer a problem with the SPEEDMAX knife roller. Due to the special blade geometry, the blades do not penetrate deeper than 2 cm into the ground.
This gives you enough soil movement to stimulate the grains to germinate, to mix the organic material on the surface and, on the other hand, to save valuable soil water.

Fight weeds sustainably and effectively

The brand new ÖKOGRUBBER has been available since this summer! Thanks to it special construction, you can work ultra-flat with the ÖKOGRUBBER. In this case, ultra-shallow means at a depth of 2 – 3 cm below the soil surface. This allows you to cut off root and problem weeds over the entire area and, thanks to the trailing harrow, place them on top of the soil surface where they dry up. This ultra-flat cultivation not only saves fuel and time, but also lowers the risk of resistance within the weeds.
